#MastercardRestaurantWeek | Talindos Steakhouse

Restaurant week started on November 4th and it is actually in its’s  last week wnding November 25th. This is the third time restaurant week has happened in Lagos but this is the first time I will be participating. Maybe it is Buhari’s economy, maybe it isn’t…

In a nutshell, Mastercard Restaurant Week offers up 3-course lunch and dinner options for 6k, 8k or 11k depending on the restaurant of your choice. You can find the list of participating restaurants and menus here

For some reason, I never got around to trying the food at Talindos so there was no better time than now to do so! Went there with my husband and another couple to stuff our faces and stuff did we…

Spicy Chicken Wings

Chicken wings in our house blend of suya spice, grilled and served with a yogurt dip

These may not look like much but they were divine! I am a chicken wing aficionado so trust me, when I rate any wings, they are bomb. These wings taste like suya and chicken wings mated and birthed a delicious hybrid baby…

 Jack Daniels Steak

175g grilled aged steak on a hot plate with our tomato based bbq sauce with mushroom
and bacon bits, served with baked potatoes and sautéed vegetables

Another winner…what’s not to love about meat marinated in booze? It was cooked to medium well perfection and it was delicious!

*Bonus Point: This actually came in flames to the table…It was fantastic to watch!*

Apple Rings

Tempura apple rings served with vanilla ice-cream and an apple and brandy caramel
sauce with a hint of cinnamon

This was very average. I really wanted to try their world famous Talindos brownies but they said they had run out. I was very annoyed so that may be the reason why I thought these apple rings were basic AF…Not worth the calories for me…

No. 7B, Karimu Ikotun Street,

Victoria Island, Lagos

Although I did not fancy the dessert, the starter and main were fantastic. Now I understand why Talindos has been around for so long but is still relevant…they serve quality food…

Before Restaurant Week ends, I hope to be able to try the deal at 1415 restaurant at Eko Hotel the menus both look amazing! Will blog about it if I do.

Have you guys tried out any of the restaurant deals?

Peace & Love,
